Gold Investing Made Simple

Hello and welcome to Gold Investing Simplified for 2012. If you are just starting out on your gold investments or simply want to find out more about buying/selling gold coins, you will find helpful information on this site, on my Gold Investing Blog and in my Popular Gold Coins video.

Investing in gold can get confusing but it doesn't have to be that way. My mission is to provide you with information that can help you with your gold investment decisions. Just keep in mind that only you can decide if investing in gold is right for you. I take no responsibility for whatever gold purchases you decide to make.

You won't find a sales pitch for buying gold from me here since I no longer sell precious metals. I want you to benefit from my experience in selling gold and silver coins for one of the oldest, most reputable precious metal dealers in the USA.

Has The Price Of Gold "Topped Out"?

[Most Recent Quotes from www.kitco.com] No one can say for sure. But since bottoming out at $253 in 1999, gold has made spectacular gains. Many gold experts say gold prices have a lot further to go from the current spot gold price seen at right.

In 1980 gold reached a record $850 per ounce before its long trend down. More recently, gold stormed past $1900 before dropping back in consolidation. A number of predictions are for gold to rise hundreds even thousands of dollars from its current price. There are no sure things in life but having a small portion of your total assets in gold continues to be a recommendation of a number of financial analysts.

Here is another encouraging sign for gold...

YEAR END CLOSING PRICES

 2000….$273.60,   2001….$279.00,    2002….$348.20,
2003….$416.10,   2004….$438.40,    2005….$518.90
2006….$638.00,   2007….$838.00,    2008….$889.00
 2009....$1096.50,  2010....$1421.40,  2011....$1566.80

This eleven year pattern of higher year-over-year closing prices is bullish for gold and is another reason for you to consider investing in this precious metal.
